Well it’s ok to take the train in Japan but in the US it can be a nightmare. I live in Marin so no train at all, but other people in my union have described experiences on BART and it sounds awful, from assault to just disgusting things. I was a Marine and I wouldn’t do well with idiots on drugs yelling in my face.

Oh they totally are, or a clean Isuzu Trooper. No Land Cruiser tax. I drove across Tibet with a Mitsubishi and two Land Cruisers and one of the Land Cruisers had an issue but never the Mitsubishi. To be fair it snapped an A arm (and we just had to weld it), it could have happened to anything in those conditions.

I hope Porsche electric cars beat the shit out of Tesla. Here in Marin there are a lot of Porsche 911s and SUVs. I think given the choice these people would go for the Porsche over a Tesla.
