I’d be inclined to agree with you if this was rolling on basket weaves. IMHO, it just needs basket weaves to be ‘right’.

A million stars to you. Especially true on the ‘good luck finding an un-modded VW from this era’ comment. These are the Euro fanboy equivalent of pre-2001 Civics. They were an economy car that happened to be fun to drive and had strong aftermarket support. Any survivor now is either a modified example someone…
This has also been modified with the later big bumpers both front and back. The GLi grille was swapped for a Golf GTi grille, those are popular modifications and all easily reversed, even the wiper mechanism is a quick fix. Nice price for a rust free survivor with a decent interior. Hacking the door cards for those…
Being a reformed VW fanboy, it’s funny to see some of the first comments here. Some answers for the culturally uninformed:
Can I borrow your tarp?
I did that for a year in my 20s. Seriously. It wasn't as cool as I'd hoped.
Eventually he will injure or kill someone. I hope that when he does, the victims hire me to sue him into utter financial ruination so that I can buy myself a nice new electric not-Tesla vehicle.
People like this make me want to live in tarp-covered hole in the woods.
Aren’t they pretty light wheels as well?
These and RPF-1s. But then again these are the only after market wheels i would get if I had a spocom.
APPROVED - she’s beautiful, btw... always loved those. A friend of mine still has his GTV6 Balocco...
How about yellow driving lights AND fogs?
I don’t know if it counts as a “mod” since technically it’s actually not changing the car from the way it was delivered to the dealer, but I really like the pop of color that keeping the splitter guards on cars like the Challenger.
I’m a fan of yellow fogs on anything, honestly...
4 people + dog crate, not either or. Love the idea, but I have to believe it's a medium+ sized crate and that rear would not likely hold one without losing a rear seat and thus what the person wants.
Totally agreed. For being conceived and created by someone who started work at 15, the work here is remarkably well done. When Spencer gets out of the military, I think he has a future at Dartz.
Who’s to say those two cup holders weren’t deliberately designed for soy lattes?
A lot of weird projection and shit in this comment section. Remember folks: it’s just a kid selling a truck he did some mods to. Not a klan member.
This ending sentence sums up my journey from 15 to 25 as well
Busted. You haven’t experienced the majesty of tape until you’ve heard it through a 9 speaker Mark Levinson sound system.
