Counter argument. 1st gen IS300 was NEVER under-rated. Everyone knows its awesome. Its the very rare instance that the US got the better version of any car. The Altezza and IS200(Europe) got the less powerful 2.0 1GFE and 3SGE. This was my high school dream car. I had a picture of a dark blue one in my bedroom. 12

Obviously Kristen hasn’t been to southern california. The things are as common as cockroaches around here. Along with first gen Mercedes MLs.

Have you ever driven outside of a well-lit city?  Or off-road?  Animals would be the biggest concern, followed by brush and small branches/limbs.  They’re not designed for full-speed collisions with other vehicles.

Any city laid out before the popularization of the automobile will have this issue, along with every apartment building built before the popularization of the automobile. My three previous apartments were all built between 1880 and 1910 - obviously, “parking spaces for residents” wasn’t a consideration in their design

This! I don’t understand how in a country as large as America, buildings and businesses can’t provide adequate parkig for people.

I obviously understand that NYC is a beast of it’s own and being an Aussie who has never visited, I probably won’t understand it.

From a personal view, if a house I’m looking at

Honestly, I'm pretty sure most of these folks would fucking LOVE to be able to install a parking garage in their homes.

This one is easy. Cars are lasting longer, and more expensive to buy, so people buy less often. Unless you absolutely have to have the newest safety features, a 10 year old car is going to have the same features as a brand new car.

Search and Rescue helicopter pilot guy here. In case any of you are wondering if this will happen to you after falling off a cliff face or something and needing an airlift, it won’t if they do their jobs right. In the organization I fly with you have to use a line attached to the litter that’s held by a member of the

“Sir, we’re losing altitude!” “Engage bottom rotor!”

Finally, a video that belongs on Deadspin.

Calling a 3rd gen Bronco with an inline six a good road trip vehicle may be presuming that the speed limit on said roads never goes over 50.

Get a ‘99-’02 Saab 9-3 Viggen. 230 hp, 5-speed stick and more back seat room and cargo space than most of today’s small SUVs. Good ones can still be found under $10K.

No 1st Gen MPV love?

Finally? I have always supported Flex ownership. :D

Sometimes an HOA can be non-intrusive and perfectly reasonable.... but then fall under new leadership and become a fucking nightmare. This happened in my uncle’s neighborhood where he was actually on the counsel, and then a new president of the HOA was elected, and he was removed after disagreeing with the new

Good take, I feel he could just park it inside his garage and then no problem. From What I’ve seen HOAs are terrible however most major disputes with HOAs happen because the homeowner feels that they are in the right and can’t just make a small change to avoid the problem they feel they have to prove they are right

But the HOA’s rules don’t cover the aesthetics of a vehicle. Only the physical state of it.

Texting Fate starring Ansel Elgort and Mandy Moore c. 2001.

I wouldn't exactly be testing fate by saying, "I'm a miracle."
