I sound so lame for saying this, but I remember hitting the snake in 96/97 and not seeing another car for an hour while I did runs up and down the canyon.

I mean look, Alex isn’t the most admirable character on social media. He rubs a ton of people the wrong way, he presents himself as a gluttonus , self serving, narcissist who , based on is videos, thinks life is a joke and screw anyone who isn’t Alex Choi. ( i could go on)

Basic liability laws fall into play here- Car/motorcycle going straight has the right of way, based on that alone it will lean more on the Lambo as far as liability.

This is why I don’t help VW owners on the side of the road.

It would be nice if you actually covered the topic of your article title.

This was seriously the funniest article I’ve read in a while.

But seriously, F this guy.

I was obsessed with cars as a kid. From Knight Rider, BJ and the Bear, Automan, to Spencer for Hire (Hawks BMW!), CHiPs, Street Hawk.... I couldn’t take my eyes off of shows with cars as a pivotal character.

True, and this guy didn’t need to read a manual to operate the door handles. He needed to read the manual to operate the back up system when his doorhandles failed to operate.

Down the street from my house there was this guy who collected BMWs. He wasn’t loaded, but he could turn a wrench, and since he worked in the automotive journalism world I think he came across some great car buying opportunities through that world.

Haha, as exciting and adrenaline inducing as airbags and MPG ratings may be, they have nothing to do with a cars excitement factor. I mean, when was the last time anyone was at a car event or in a dealer showroom and said “Holy shit! Look at the airbags on that Buick!”

I mostly agree with you, but I feel that in addition to that it is the automakers who are blowing it for themselves.

Can someone break this down a bit further for me? He literally unlocked his car, opened the door and she called the cops ? Or he reached into his window, hit the unlock button , opened the door and she called the cops?

I used to wonder about this, but after seeing so many street racing videos from California here is the breakdown:

Level 10 comment. Thank you!

“For someone who gives so much,”

I still think it’s one of the better looking sedans to come out of the early 2ks, love the interior, and the generation after this had projector headlights and a few other goodies that kick it up a notch.

So many bad ass jeeps! I’m really starting to like the old Cherokee/wagoneers from the mid 70s back.

I had a buddy who wrote (and photographed, and edited, and....) for Thrillist. Outside of reality TV production I have never seen anyone so poorly treated. Insane deadlines, zero compensation, all images were work for hire situations, no travel expenses paid, pretty sure she even got paid per PUBLISHED word, not on
