Thats barely enough to merge on my daily commute.
Thats barely enough to merge on my daily commute.
I think it is banned without a roll cage, which unfortunately Dodge will not install for $1
I was thinking that, then they said 9.65 quarter mile at 140mph. Its not 1000 hp, but it is damn fast.
“Teams will be able to swap to these faster green tires at any point during the All-Star Race, however, if they do so in the last 10-lap segment of the 70-lap race, they will have to rejoin the field at the back of the grid.” I like how they made it convoluted, because its entertainment instead of racing. Instead of…
Thats not enough of a gimmick for nascar these days. I think the next thing coming to NASCAR is the ability to take 4 tires during a yellow only if the driver gets out of the car, puts a baseball bat on their nose and spins in a circle 7 times before getting back in the car to drive off.
Honestly I am waiting for it to be announced it makes 757 HP, does some ridiculous time in the quarter mile for a stock car and tons of articles announcing how much of a disappointment it is because it isn’t faster. Comments like, “757 hp is barely enough to merge on my Daily commute”, or 6 months of youtube videos…
I think the smart thing to do is for them to pull a Porsche and charge more for a car with less stuff. Have the base with a standard interior, but for 10k Dodge can ship you a Challenger with only one seat and a carbon fiber shift knob, and stitch SRT Demon Hardcore Edition on the one seat.
Grassroots Motorsports did a dyno test with different octane fuels, race gas performed no better than regular unleaded with the stock timing curve. The power difference in race gas comes from changing the timing or being able to run more compression, not from the fuel itself.
Im surprised the first comment wasn’t about air pressure.
Its a shame the Germans decided to carry on that characteristic of British cars.
Be careful making sweeping generalizations here. The first list seems to only include Ford, GM, Toyota and Honda. Thats not to say these aren’t fine built automobiles, but the drive-train you opt for, or even year can have pretty profound impact on longevity, even within one model year. My 06 Hemi Ram is holding up…
I think the only thing better would be a Gremlin.
Honestly anything after 71 that claims to be a Charger, Road Runner or most any other muscle car isn’t much to write home about anyway. It wouldn’t really be hard to make a Road Runner a Satellite, both are B bodies and the majority of the parts are interchangeable.
That’s a Road Runner, not a Duster.
In what world does this car run 11's in the quarter mile as delivered? The most we can verify is headers and aluminum intake manifold. Also 10 bolt rear end that doesn’t show signs of being gone through recently, 3.73 gearing and a posi that has 100K on it. This is a nice looking cruiser but there is not much…
Boring a 350 .030 over isnt really going to net much or any power increase or displacement increase. You could put a 400 crank in it and have a 383. I do however agree with you, a 396 isn’t quite worth the weight penalty when you can have a comparable sized small block, which is what I say as someone who has always…
I spent an hour arguing with a sales manager about that. He was trying to upsell me into a newer used truck. I had enough money where I only had to finance half the truck at a 200 a month payment for 4 years. Seemed reasonable, I did my homework and knew my pricepoint but he kept trying to upsell me. My plan was…
I like this a lot, Orange, light, enough power to be a ton of fun and still unmolested by an LS swap, I just keep coming back to 14,500 is just a bit much for what it is. Im getting the impression as I look through the craigslist add that it was a money is no object build... and then they found out how much it would…
I’m on the fence between cheap “Driving lights” that break out or discolor right away or my time spent on stereos. Always trying to fit speakers 6x9 speakers and a sub behind the seat of a regular cab Dodge Dakota. Optimistic measuring and a weekend of tweaking left a pickup that had to have the seat pushed almost…
Honestly I think its funny to watch cars go by with cheap, heavy oversize wheels and the cheapest tires that they can find for performance, or cut coils to lower the car for performance that make the struts bottom out constantly for handling. I had friends do it in high school and I still run into those sorts of…
