The problem is the trailers brakes usually. Stopping like this almost always ends up jackknifing the truck. As amazing as the stopping power is, they should show it under more real world conditions. Also, depending what kind of load the truck has, stopping that hard may not even be an option. Still, amazing…
Almost defying the physics, but maybe it's just because we rarely see these trucks apply full brakes, so you're not actually aware of their stopping power. Thanks for posting this video, always amazing to watch.
That was absolutely glorious! I had no idea Volvo was still such an innovative company.
While I was about to almost say what Eric said, and the added benefit of being a New Yorker, a Manhattanite at that, and not only having seen some batshit insane driving done some myself in the city, after watching the video, 100% with you on this... fuck these people. Fuck 'em in the ass with their car without KY.
I'm not proud of being marginally interested in watching the video, but I can't pass up an opportunity to sympathize with hatred of Alex Roy. He's so full of himself and just sucks so much.
Absolutely agreed. You want to set times for stuff.. go to a track. Period.

I'd have to disagree. Emirates is great but Singapore Airlines is the crown jewel of airlines in my opinion
Absolutely, Arab and Asian cultures both. I have flow Emirates, Korean, Cathay, Singapore. All superb service. Flying Qatar in November. I hear that is superb as well.
Bought one back in 2003 for the wife for $15,500. A 2013 has a lot more stuff like ABS and side curtain airbags plus some inflation and I think at about $18K for a 2013 it is still a pretty good car for a female. She certainly liked hers all these years. A comparable equipped Mazda 3 is about $1500 more. For us poor…
I've never been on Emirates, but EgyptAir is a pleasure as well. At least, compared to most American airlines.
And, of course, Emirates will soon introduce a shisha lounge on the A380 :) http://www.panarabiaenquirer.com/wordpress/emir…
Angry Porsche man questions relevance.
Seriously. He also could've eaten ten apples and shit out fruit salad.
