Can I get Jalopnik stickers anyways?

Ninja edited thanks.

The bigger problem is our government agency's requiring onerous (in my opinion) safety standards on cars. Those measures will never let this happen.

Ninja edit...I don't think that he would've wanted this.

That's what I meant. They are milking his name to no end.

This is why I think that Shelby was somewhat of a pretentious douchebag. Yes he has created some good things, but this is just bleh...The company is milking his name to no end. I don't think that he would have wanted this. But there were things he should have done to prevent this.

I was trying to look for that.

4.4 X5 is the best one that they've made yet.

I swear that I talked about this about 3 months ago here on Jalopnik.

Looks kinda like a Lotus with that first picture.

I was about 100% sure I would buy this. Then I looked at the price.

I'm sure you know (being a seasoned Jalopnik veteran) that there are more costs that are incurred with that. Things like marketing and testing for American roads, all the safety crap. Also companies want to make sure that the cars don't sit on the dealer lots forever.

This. And because the wagon market is such a niche market, it is tough to introduce new competition as well. And I'm not talking about everyone but a lot of Subaru and VW owners tend to be loyalists and do not venture out to other manufacturers.

Thanks for the support. Companies are very smart, they throw a lot of money at market research and do their homework. People that want to get something for the utility aspect of it will buy a SUV. For most people here wagons do not make sense. It's kinda like the manual argument, for majority of the people, they won't

To put it simply, we don't get these cars because no one will buy them. Yeah everyone here on Jalopnik says that they would buy a wagon, but when it comes time to put their money where their mouth is, it doesn't happen. My area of study is something similar to cars and international business, I can assure you the

I think somewhere on KBB it says that what the price that they give you is the amount you should start negotiations at. Edmund's I believe uses courthouse values for cars and I find has a fairer price. Now showing the much lower price to a dealer is the hard part.

What would be cool is if there was a air compressor in each tire or per axle and it filled it up automatically depending on the conditions.

Where's the LFA?

It's too late for COTD, but that was really good.
