I mean, all 4 of them have been Pro Bowlers multiple times and are arguably the best QBs in their respective franchise’s histories. Given their whole body of work, the big-3 are franchise cornerstone type guys who led their teams to stability and even success for over a decade.

2004??? Eli, Big Ben, and Philip Rivers as clear-cut great QBs and Matt Schaub as very good starter?

Counter-point: Week 1 and 2 of this year (when OBJ was out or hobbled), and week 16 of 2015 when he was last injured, Eli has looked like complete garbage.

Too bad there isn’t a free agent QB out there who’s athletic enough to pose a threat in a wildcat formation.
