One of my friends and I were totally these boys growing up until high school.  Not sure how far we’d take it though.  I know if there was snow I’d have long pants on.  I think it was mostly just enjoying testing ourselves to see what we could handle.  And after a while you do get more accustomed to it.  That and

For real though, buy the local farm food. As in from little stands on the side of the road next to the farms. Easily the best sweet corn and peaches I’ve ever had.

Around here it seems to be Dollar General that’s doing this. Pretty sure they’re focusing on towns too small for even a walmart (and a walmart exists in the bigger city half an hour away). My wife’s family is from a town of about 1200 people, and they lost their local grocery store when Dollar General went in at the

The name makes me imagine it’s when you curl up on the floor and take a nap in between sets. And that does sound pretty great.

I never understood how this treaty wouldn’t have been easily dodged by just launching an ICBM for a shorter distance.  All it’d take is putting less fuel in it, tweak the launch profile, and ta-da it suddenly would go an intermediate distance.

I had a Magnum, and have driven newer chargers and challengers as rentals. They all felt quiet, comfortable, and spacious. Handling was I guess what I’d call “stable”. Not corner carving masters by any means. But body is well controlled, and can still be a good time when things get twisty. Obviously they all do

Boeing said they’re not doing layoffs, but their supply chain is a big question mark right now. One of their suppliers is in my town, and the news sounds uncertain.

Oh hey, I’m part of those people on 1st gear! Originally looked at Chevy since my family has a good trusted small dealer they go to. But they had zero options that met the criteria of fun to drive, has rear door(s), and manual in our price range. Looked used for ATS sedan or Regal GS, but dealer couldnt find any with

Corvette Racing did that and got a new rule made in response.

Regarding the C7 Corvette: “Although Chevrolet claims a straight-up 50/50 weight distribution, our scales demonstrated a rearward weight bias, with 49.4 percent sitting over the front axle and 50.6 to the rear.” - Car and Driver. Seems like a pretty good weight distribution to me.

I’m definitely included in the group who feels much more comfortable on voice chat with a game, than on a phone.

(None of the following is intended as a knock against your source. I’d wager what you found is probably one of the best sources. Just an observation of the absurdity that is trying to find accurate information now days.)

He also left out Kansas. But I guess we have a Democrat governor now, so maybe that’s why he doesn’t care about us either.

I did notice the Transit Connect can be had super cheap! I forgot seeing that.  Looked kind of barren, but not everyone minds that.  Especially when you get that useful of a car for a great price.

I actually hadn’t realized that. All the van’s I looked at were the Honda, Toyota, or Kia.  Guess that’s what I get for being too biased.

I’ve got a friend who looked at one of these yesterday, and he and his wife liked it enough. The price-to-practicality is absolutely its selling point. I mentioned minivans, and he said they aren’t opposed to them. But a used minivan will have 100k+ miles and be 5 years old if it costs the same as a new Journey.

This made me take a curious look at what Evora 400's cost. Since when were these $110-120k?! I thought they seemed expensive at $70-80k, but understood due to the whole small manufacturer and low volume thing.

Your post and those responding make me feel so much better. I’m an engineer and will be getting married to a teacher in June.

Don’t forget the influence of games like Gran Turismo. They taught a lot of us about fast Japanese cars. I was still pretty young when F&F came out, and had still known about Supras for years already thanks to the GT series.

I think there is a place for the really small fractional weights. Sure the tolerance on a plate is bigger, but especially at home where you use the same plates that doesn’t matter as much.
