Let me blow your mind. I have BOTH a Sequoia and a Sienna. But have 4 kids. My wife uses the Sienna daily for kid duties. The Sequoia is the ski/RV/offroad/tow heavy stuff car. I commute by bicycle, so it sits 5 or 6 days a week in my driveway. The cars are both useful.

It’s legal and also accepted practice in Seattle.  Not sure if it’s statewide or just the city, but people parallel park the wrong way almost as much as the right way.
