Why an MTV over the LMTV? Seems more complicated and more expensive to run/insure if you aren’t carrying tons of weight.

“It’s just common courtesy and class.” NO, it’s not actually. Common courtesy and class is treating fellow passengers humanely and gracefully when they’re not able to access something as fundamental as a bathroom that is blocked by a cart or a huge line of people. If you need your own bathroom, you can fly on your own

Or, it could be that different clinics doing Lasik have varying procedures. Also, those “clear” glasses might just be UV blocking. Frankly, there’s about a million reasons why [generally described procedure] is different than [particular evidence of specific procedure].

That’s clearly a ruler from a BMW. You’re welcome.

That is a dead-on-the-money description of upper class private schools.

You and me both. My first computer (at home, cause they were mad expensive) was a 386, back when computers were named based on Intel processors. It ran Windows 3.1. Before that, I used to play games on a relatives computer by booting DOS from one 5.25" floppy drive and the game from the other 5.25" floppy drive.

Starred because awesome burn.

“Many camper trailers are less than half that.” If by “many,” you means there are thousands of such small trailers that exist. However, most camper trailers are more than, and significantly more than, 3,750 pounds.

Coo coo ca choo!”

As a fellow coddled, spoiled, white man, I can confidently say I hope Greta givesem the hell they deserve, and they are miserable for it. She should speak, even yell, truth to power. Science deniers can [[pound sand, or more colorful term of your choice]].

I’d like to see how many fingers are on your hands, because somewhere you didn’t learn how to count to 7. ;) That’s at least 11, possibly 12.

The government brings criminal charges (e.g., “criminally negligent,” beyond a reasonable doubt standard, do not pass go, straight to jail stuff). You get sued civilly for regular ole’ civil negligence (more likely than not standard, lose some money)

I 100% guarantee someone at Porsche overheard a radio squawk and sent the Taycan out. Somebody in marketing is getting a little extra wurst in their stocking this Christmas.

While 756,000 is the most likely total number, I’ll bet $1million dollars on the total NOT being 756,000, pleaseandthankyou. #math

Personally, I find it a little bit hilarious that folks think Musk has ever half-assed anything. Dude built a rocket company, undercut his competitors nearly 10x on launch costs, got contracts from NASA—BTW possibly the most anal, safety conscious organization to have EVER existed—and launched a Tesla into space. He’s

Must be this —^. I was looking at used trucks out where I live in Colorado, and there were a shocking number of like 3-5 years old trucks (alot of F-150s naturally) with like 150k to 200k on them. There must be some farmers/ranchers/oilmen putting a metric crapton of miles on some trucks. For every dude driving to the

Just to totally nerd this, I had assumed we meant speed relative to the observer (some randomly selected earthling), not just any two points in the universe. Expanding universe or not, I assumed the relevant observation frame was fixed to earth, wherein speed is limited to <= c.

Starred for “McDos”.  We got a real frenchie frenchman up in here!

Guarantee it’s just before noon, but the camera was set up in the evening with no awareness that 24H setting was on. Also, that CRX’s clock almost certainly never made it onto daylight savings time back in March either.

“... but have you ever seen something go 6,599 miles per hour before? Can you even see that?”
