Are you sure you drove a P2R?  Cause the last manual SR or VR available in NA was an 07. Anything newer than that is not what we Volvo R guys consider to be a real R. Those are “R-Line” cars that are similar to S-line Audi’s. Those are merely appearance/trim packages on S60's with the highest output drive train…

Top Fuel Dragster Camshafts are designed with additional lobe separation front-to-rear to account for camshaft twist under WOT. So at idle, the front and rear cylinders have different cam timing.

Props for the simple and clean overall package. That’s a lot of work for 10hp. Modern 4 stroke B & S Animal 206's put down between 10-11hp on their own in the same packaging space. Through 2 of those in this thing and you have death kart V 2.0.
