And can we please just take this moment to kill the word “mommy” dead, once and for all? This word should not exist in the mouths of anyone over the age of 5.

This is hilarious but also did it actually happen
I feel better. I really thought it was just me who had to face the fact that I am so much uglier than I had myself believing the rest of the year!
How does that even happen? I meticulously do my makeup before hair appointments and when I sit down in the stylist’s chair I look like a bedraggled old swamp creature. I have only been to one salon that actually had nice lighting (natural lighting, I was sitting next to a big window.)
Yes, I’m in Australia and I’ve noticed that increased social support and a government education loan system has meant that people have needed to rely a bit less on parents too. But I still know people who have had a lot of similar advantages (free car, dental bills paid, parents bought a house, living at home rent…
literally every time I get a haircut I think it’s horrendous until I get that cape off and go into better lighting. it’s like my makeup disappears. I don’t think I’ve ever liked a cut or color while still in the studio.
I don’t mind a bit of chit chat.
Montreal IS different. I’m a dual citizen and spent most of my life in the States, and many of my friends live there. I wrote this really with them in mind, and as a reaction to what I see on social media. But you’re right — it’s less uptight in Montreal and I wouldn’t be surprised if some of my Montreal mom-friends…
It’s gotten much, much worse in recent years. Serious anti-feminist backlash.
I donno, I’m a Montrealer too, and I see this ‘mommy’ stuff on the internet, but not in everyday life. I only have a few friends with kids at this point, but I just see zero judgement about this stuff vs them. I am a bit judg-y when I see acquaintances hardcore enforcing gender roles on their kids, but otherwise I’ve…
46 is still pretty young.
I'm lucky because the NY-TO trip is not as expensive, and very short. Most of my friends are still there and I want to see my brother and nephews. This year will be my first Christmas home, I could never afford it these past 3 years. Did they help? Nope!!
Not a Kylie stan or anything, but as a medium-brown black woman, these colors looks great! Honestly they all would look really good on me, which rarely happens with these celebrity makeup lines. Kudos to Kylie and her team, for finding colors that would work on a variety of tones/ethnicities!
Great song.
She’s Big In Japan.
My male friends who are gay are just like, “come out already man!”
This has PR written all over it. To reinforce Tebow’s righteousness.
I hate to say that this may not be bullshit. I have seen this stuff as a surgeon, both in training and in practice. Her hair tie probably caused micro-abrasions, the glitter definitely makes that more likely, and the bacteria was probably normal skin flora that we ALL have. The triple-infection stuff makes me think…
