This is perfect.
This is perfect.
Dude- I just watched that whole thing, singing along.
They all know its the dude with the beard blasting ‘em.
I know right? I was thinking the same, her peers are dropping like flies.. :(
I agree. I’m the same age as you and this is the first artist I loved as a child versus as an older teen/adult to pass. I got “Faith” for Easter and listened to it night and day, told my older cool neighbour that it was fine she could play “I Want Your Sex” I was old enough to listen to it. Hah.
God I miss those flavours..
I’m from Quebec..I vaguely recall margarine not being allowed to be dyed yellow as not to compete with real butter..
I’m 39 and also too old for anything apparently. I did pop out babies so now I have no career!
Ours is Wednesday at one of the manager’s big ass fancy house, the one who doesn’t have to work, but does so, cause she looooves it. :/
As a Canadian I agree with that assessment! :D I did watch Vancouver, that Jody was insane.
How did I miss this one!? I love all the international versions over the US ones, the way the ladies of Cheshire and especially Melbourne swear at and insult each is breathtaking.
You have to watch the Melbourne version on youtube or somewhere online, the names they call each other are just breathtaking in their vulgarity, its something to behold!
As a Canadian “mulatto” (hah, that word) now living in the US, I do agree its more racially charged here. I grew up with my white mother calling me that and that’s all I knew. I do recall “mulatto” being thrown around a lot, mostly in some positive, weird othering kind of way like the example you gave. As I got older…
Jesus Christ.
No.
I’m posting a day later just to chime in that 95% of Young Riders were pretty hot.
I know right? My geography teacher (who was British so the accent made it more so) would say the meanest yet on point shit to us, like the kids who failed were “recycled”. He’d complain about the kids, other teachers, the office..he was everyone’s favorite since it felt like he was the only one saying things we were…
Early 2000's fashion coming back, young’uns appalled by this? Good.
Maybe because I’m a 100 years older than Kara, I loved the cover of “Didn’t Mean to Turn You On” when it first came out!
But on the flip side, some surprise you! I hated Ethan Hawke growing when all my friends loved him in Reality Bites. I saw him on WWHL and he was such an affable and funny guy, I’m now sorta a fan.
