As someone who had two awesome, drugged filled US hospital births (we won’t talk about my super shit Canadian hospital birth) I too, find doulas annoying as shit, but like you I’m feeling that quote.

Yeah, pretty much.. looking at the qualities for example, independent, sweet, nurturing, I’d want my husband to have all these and ideally my sons would have them too.
