Fine. Ignoring the fact that using the military against our own citizens is illegal and immoral, yes the military is a “resource” in the loosest definition. Up to this point the only thing that appears to have been tried is an increased police presence. To truly commit to developing educational benefits, medical help,

FOH

Why would you pour gas on a fire?

Yes, more guns you fucking idiot.

Idiotic thinking by someone who doesn’t have a clue. We don’t need the military here in Chicago.. These men need jobs, and a place for their own. Our economy is broken right now, there is nothing for these guys to do. Literally nothing. Economic segregation in Chicago is like no other place in the U.S.

Aside from just being a stupid idea, you might want to go read up on a little thing called the Posse Comitatus Act.

Why didn’t we think of this sooner?! I mean, why actually bring jobs to the community (where the people are poor) and fix the shitty schools (which mean they can’t get jobs that don’t exist to stop being poor) when you can bring a bunch of white folks in with guns to kill them like they’re engaging another nation in

Yes, there aren’t enough guns here already. This is a situation where more guns would solve the problem and be wise. I’m sure it will resolve itself once we have several hundred guns per person. Maybe a thousand? 2 thousand should do it.

Oh yes. MORE people with guns shooting their fellow Americans is what this situation needs. It certainly wouldn’t turn into an excuse to institue marshal law or suspend civil rights. See I would have suggested pouring resources into the area, but guns and violence are our first response in this country so let’s keep

Thank goodness you cared enough to take time out of your important schedule to let everyone know how little you care! Keep fighting the good fight!

But... she says it was filmed without her consent, so why are you putting the bit about people STILL making sex tapes?

That’s a very brave position. Congrats.

Literally your words= victim blaming. Own up to your own shit.

I give a damn about her now. This is terrible and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.

It’s not about a semantic meaning or a word, it was the entirety of the sentence that held that Barton had made a sex tape, when she hadn’t. There’s nothing meh about keeping the details of a sex-crime correct, especially when commenting on the victim’s behavior (or supposed behavior).

Saying “I don’t know why people STILL make sex tapes or take nude photos because inevitably this shit happens, but I still feel bad for her [Barton]” expressed the opposite.

She was drugged and recorded having sex. None of this is right and it’s taking our legislation too long to keep up with these kinds of crimes.

and I don’t know why people STILL make sex tapes or take nude photos

Bish wut? Why are you gonna call someone out on their lack of compassion and in the same breath victim blame? Get the fuck out of here with that bullshit.
