wow. there are a lot of holes in this article. your emergency road kit is quite lacking. you should have water, first aid kit, blankets, jumper cables (they are not standard) and a flashlight for starters.

Or you can be like Mary Poppins, and spend your tuppence on birdseed. Just sayin.
Wow. Soylent, huh? What's next, ice 9 for my soda?
Doesn't have to be that extreme. I'm all for inner confidence, but being aware of social cues and responding appropriately is important.
You mean this guy —>
I thought those were called badges of honor. Or are you students known as customers now? If so, you have my sympathies.
ummmm, people care. Just depends what you are talking about.
Yeah, I don't really think this is such hot advice. While you can't please everyone, just blindly going around doing what you want w/o caring doesn't sound like a recipe for success either.
doesn't take much :)
On the other hand, PAY ATTENTION TO VOLTS! I appreciate people put in a note about amps, but when voltage varies, your device either won't have enough to work or it will fry in a second.
This is my #1 gripe when it comes to portable electronics. Seriously. What is up with all these wall warts that supply different amounts of power. If Congress can force manufacturers to stop making 60 W incadescents, why can't they regulate this. It drives me nuts trying to figure out what charger goes where. And…
I want to say I like it, but it is just one more option in a sea of many. There are public journals like twitter, and private options like evernote, clear text.
nice! I like that!
Water pik!
It comes down to friendships being so important because they get you through the lean times. The world doesn't turn around because of money but because people are willing to do the work that makes it. My prayers are definitely with those that are struggling, I hope it gets better. And good timing on the article.

no kidding. Plunger takes 10 secs.
Does anyone remember orkut? A lot of Google's stuff is tremendously innovative. I would say in the past 5 yrs, they've brought more stuff to the table than anyone. They just don't seem to be able to get social media unfortunately.
exactly.
no need for the attitude. some people need the reminder. its a good thing to think about in your head. and yes I'm over 25, I've been in plenty of meetings and I am "remotely qualified" to do my job.
thanks. finally I got around to getting a Samsung S3, and abandoning that Droid 3 piece of crap. Sorry, but I have some *really bad* experiences with my past 2 Motorola Droid phones ( pictures take forever, sound playback choppy, phone call takes over a minute to make, volume controls don't work, etc).
