They don’t rely entirely on hearing (certain species rely on it more than others). Vision plays an important role also. The example mentioned in that NatGeo video is NOT a great horned owl. With poor vision, his success rate will be reduced.

Why? because these morons are not interested in driving. All they care about is the look of the car (like a manga illustration). And being stared at as they drive at the only speed they could and knew how: slow. Because they didn’t get enough attention as a child.

Look like a youngster. Much smaller than the one I saw in suburbs of Vegas several years ago, which was big enough to make the street light it landed on to sway. Likely going to be okay? I hope so. Busted eye to a bird of prey is pretty much a death sentence.

You know what this is all about right? A political stunt to appeal to the wealthy and green [i.e. Hollywood] donors.

And done with this modeling tool:

Fast cars are also more sexy and newsworthy. The Bullit has that going for it as well as being “real”.

Not just lame, it’s unethical. Why? because they are seeking to profit off of another business entities intellectual property. Ah yes... let the hipster fake outrage out.

Not the first time a manufacturer rename a common feature to make it appear more unique.

Lots of places for Bubba to stash his guns.

And there in lies the problem with EPA MPG ratings and turbo engines. Tests are conducted under specific conditions and manufacturers “hack” calibrations to hit a certain MPG figure under those conditions. This means in real world driving you will never see matching results.

Well hang on to yer hats boys and girls. Cars & Coffee all over this great land is about to get even more sideways.

Sigh. Yup, people who don’t know BMWs just don’t get it. Not even “professional auto journalists”.

Whatever. We live in a materialistic and capitalistic society—it is what it is. I want to know who (Art Director, agency and vendor) produced the piece. Nice job.

Would love to see them couple this mild hybrid system with their diesel.

Because there are lots of people out there who mistaken “different” for “good”. It’s how the Aztek got made.
