So? Like I said. The track is not owned by NASCAR.

You are speaking in general terms. The rest of us in this comment thread are talking about this particular case of turning something as ordinary as standard mass production procedure into a story of production failure.
What you are seeing is the hysteria the market “shorts” would like to promote in order to short a stock to their advantage... twisting a perfectly ordinary event into a negative one. Possible where the strategy of fake news all began.
Still, it reads like you’re implying Sonoma is owned by NASCAR. Does the series name even need to be in the headline? Make my day, bring on the cat pics.
Or the other way around. Small turbos for low to mid end boost. Electric power unit to boost top end. The turbos could be connected via a shaft that turns a generator (a la AMG F1) to charge a battery pack or bank of capacitors (which charge/discharges much quicker than batteries).
What is that armored vehicle? I need one for my SoCal commutes!
Not talking about interior space. Talking about physical appearance/presence/impression.
Not good depending on who you ask. Teams at the top may not like this, but this might just make it a 3 or 4 horse race instead of just 1 or 2; which is good for the fans and ultimately good for the series.
You think a delivery van can take sales away from the Wrangler? Time to check yourself into a substance abuse program.
I think it looks fine and is a good direction for the brand... much better than the MKZ. I just think it’s too small in physical stature, which is causing it to sell itself short.
Current, yes. But a future halo car is obviously not “current”.
Mazda’s halo car will not be a 4-cylinder. To do so makes zero sense for the company. My money is on a mild or performance hybrid with a rotory making up the ICE part. Some might shoot down the electrification theory... but, remember the recently announced partnership with Toyota and Subaru.
2020 marks Mazda’s centennial. Need I say more?
But big for a car of its era. Not the case with the current Continental.
I’m not talking about the Century or Japan, foo. I’m talking about the Lincoln Continental in the U.S. of A. Learn to read.
Precisely. In person, the Continental lacks physical presence and blends right into the traffic. If I wasn’t a car guy and work closely with the industry, I would not have noticed it at all. When it was first revealed I expected it to have the same presence as a Bentley or Rolls. Not something along the lines of a…
Anyone here think the Continental is too small? First time I saw one in person I was shocked by how small it is. Doesn’t seem to fit the name’s heritage.
Budget of $15k and he wants a warranty? LMAO. Maybe cut back on the sticky green budget and shift it over to the car buying budget.
Univision huh? so when is Jalopnik switching to Spanish?
Buy 4 tires and get a SUV free (salvage title).
