thats a good point, but EVE Online kinda has a weird ecology created by players, so maybe it is possible to sort of a create an open world MMO that allows players to shape it.

there was a Fallout MMO in the works years ago (like I think around the time FO3 was released) but Bethesda cancelled it once they got full control over the Fallout license.

It can’t be that weird, I mean Bethesda is making a shit ton of money and people do love their stuff, but Obsidian has direct ties to the original Fallout games and New Vegas definitely wore the charms of the older games on its sleeve a bit more obviously.

The Assassins Creed series lost my a long time ago when the story and gameplay kinda just went bleh, but gosh darnit, they keep choosing such cool settings for their games.
