the only mobile GTA clone I played was Gangstar Rio, and it was pretty decent, even featured some licensed music. I gave up on playing mobile games though, virtual touchscreen controls cramped my hands way too bad

I tried googling to see if I could find any complaints against them, but there didn’t seem to be any. The game has gone for ~$25 on more known sites (I think Greenman with a coupon or Gamersgate, can’t remember which).

played all of em released in the west and don’t know what you mean, the controls were really straight forward. The only one that has legit horrible controls was Yakuza Dead Souls (the zombie shooter one).

not really. I imagine most people are paying for smartphones on a monthly basis, so that’s usually $100 down and then whatever a month, and their parents are paying for that. Parent’s may not want to buy 2 expensive electronics.
