I like the engine configuration but maybe designing a ground up street car motor using the same technology is going to be easier than trying to detune a high maintenance F1 engine. Kudos to them for trying it out though, it’s a cool project and I hope it leads to something.

That island looks confusing. There’s no real beach with sand, it doesn’t look like you’d want to build a house there, and no one else nearby has either. I just don’t get it. It’s also been dropping in price lately per the Realtor.com link, about 10k per month, so perhaps the owner just wants out from under it.

They can get over that shit. You keep letting the pearl clutchers have their way and shaming everyone for harmless, or nearly harmless, activities then they’re going to keep on doing it. Next time some other CEO gets caught hitting the bong the reaction won’t be so severe. Sooner or later it’ll fade into nothing as

I just 86’d that problem

Looks good, Porsche. I think I might like horizontal slays over the motor rather than vertical but that’s being nit picky.

Cars are supposed to be fun, sounds like you might be taking these things a little too seriously. But hey, at least you’re into cool cars, so you do you.

Have there been any shots of a C8 Prototype with a front engine layout or is it looking like the mid engine Corvette, if it is a Corvette, is the one C8 they’re making?

The 2nd gen MR2 is a masterpiece that came out when Japan was making a bunch of masterpieces. Toyota probably couldn’t make a better MR2 today if it tried. The first gen is fine, and not without it’s good qualities, but the low power is a thing, and the boxy 80’s styling is one of those things where some days I see

I thought he was Tim Cook when I first saw that picture

I want my under 20mph noise to sound like this

The new NSX would be more successful if it looked different, IMO. When you look at the New NSX there’s elements of Acura’s corporate design language shoehorned into it, and on some cars that looks fine, but it does not look that good on the NSX. The corporate design language trend needs to die, like right now. There

I get it, and I understand what car this is and how much it’s worth and all that. I understand that it can be fixed up. But damn, even if I were a billionaire 30 times over I would never spend almost half a mil on a wrecked car, even if Elvis wrecked it himself, long live the king. This will always be the wrecked

According to Google the 2014 has 181hp and the 2016 has 233hp, which is quite a jump, so apparently they were able to suss out where they fucked up. 181 hp in a car that weighs 4050 lbs is a flat out no from me. It’s CP at 70k, its CP at 25k. I don’t need it to win drag races, but just ugh. I remember being excited

That’s right, balls may be the hottest fashion accessory of the summer, but really they’re always in fashion and universally admired.

Plenty of cars with already shot tires will be filtered out by inspection, even if there are circumstances where some get through. The overall total of dangerous vehicles (and accidents caused by them) would be lower, even if there will always be some. Some people just don’t know what’s wrong with their car, and

That’s the deadest car show I’ve ever seen.

I like EV’s and will probably get one somewhat soon, but many places in Africa for instance don’t have stable electricity availability. If you could carry enough electricity to get an EV out of a tight spot as if you were using a gas can that’d be big. Regardless it’s going to be situations where electricity isn’t

That car is going to be impossible to find parts for when it breaks.  This is a very questionable idea.
