I had no idea these were that dirty.
I had no idea these were that dirty.
I think motorcycle videos are just a little too niche for anything to actually survive. It makes me sad because these guys really are good.
Jalopnik will never accept that logic.
Tell that guy if he doesn’t like our country he can just get out!
There is an idea that making people’s lives harder and/or shittier will cause them to make the decision that you want them to make (i.e. switch from gas to EV).
As much as I like to root for an underdog, I don’t think it deserves better.
I used to think this, but now I have a 10 speed in my F-150 and honestly I hate it. Every time you press the accelerator it shifts before it actually moves unless it’s already in “sport” mode and is already holding a higher RPM. It shifts pretty quick, but still it just feels weird - almost CVT-ish. I miss the 6 speed…
Inflation has helped out with this. People will work for $20/hr and be happy about it even though they don’t understand that $20/hr today is about the same as $14/hr last year.
Being stuck in an RV with your kids for two weeks is more than enough punishment.
These are fricken sweet, but I’m not sure why you’d go with one of these over a utility side-by-side considering how much they cost.
I have a dangerously basic understanding of electricity, so I’m definitely not an expert.
Oh absolutely. Transitioning to EVs is going to require massive infrastructure investment anyway, it’s just interesting to think about what it might take.
I feel like this would require not just EVs built to accept this much power, but what are the odds the overall electrical grid could handle the peaky power delivery these types of chargers would create.
Everyone on here whines about modern cars. Too big, too powerful, not a 1992 miata.
I hope that this machine goes “YEEET” when it launches stuff. Just feels appropriate.
Yeah, they aren’t the best for technical rock crawling unless they’ve been upgraded with much larger tires & cvs, but for anything short of that they just rip right over it. No worries about body damage and they have a super great ride.
People will use them to haul ass down jeep and forest service roads without regard for speed limits or blind corners. They are incredible machines, but they create some problems.
These things are fricken sweet, but they have already created some problems in Colorado. They are SO much more capable than jeeps that people operate them at super high speed and without regard for nature preservation.
I think that camper could have fit on a typical F-350 or something.
Considering the current cost of new vehicles and the reliability of workhorse engines made in the last 10 years, I think we’re going to see quite a few 500k+ mile engines over the next few years.
