I know some neckbeard is going to tell me that they’ve been driving 2 wheel drive pickup in Michigan since 1984 and they’ve never gotten stuck, but the fact is that all-wheel-drive is an awesome luxury if you live somewhere that snows.

I hope they replace it with a Camaro that offers real throwback vibes.

Your Montero would be absolutely fine. I did it in my Cherokee on 31s.

The sign is pretty clearly marked. They drove up a fairly wide, decently maintained road that goes to a power house for a hydro electric plant and then pulled in to the end of Black Bear Pass.

Yep. I did it once and I might not ever do it again. Imogene pass is less narrow (still scary, tho) and debatably more scenic.

Ah, I totally misread that. Too late to edit my comment, but it totally reinforces my opinion that a permit system isn’t the way to go.

This vehicle is totally capable of doing Black Bear Pass. From a technical skills standpoint, it’s a beginner level 4x4 trail. From a consequences standpoint, it’s expert level.

+1 for the King of the Hill reference

They’ve got a wide range of horsepower options available. This one is fairly pedestrian, but they go all the way up to bonkers.

The current livery and trump’s livery are both equally boring to me and I’m very surprised people have strong opinions about it one way or the other. Trump is very polarizing, though. It’s not a NASCAR, so I’m totally fine with it being boring.

If that was a wedding in Georgia taking place in a tent under the same circumstances, people in that room would have condemned it, so I love that Rogen trolled them.

I get preferences and what not, but Trump’s scheme, aside from looking like the rendering was done in 1972, isn’t really that offensive is it?

Aside from Nissan’s awful interior tech and questionable reliability of late, I’ve always liked the way this vehicle looked.

I’ve had plastic liners in trucks forever. No rust issues. They are nice if you want to slide things in and out - unfortunately that’s also their worst attribute - things slide around in them.

It would be fun in dunes or maybe snow wheeling, but yeah this thing is just for a rich person to hoon around in a few times a year.

John was better.

Rich people just buy these to hoon around. No one isn’t buying this to be a survivalist.

Interestingly, you rarely are actually committed to buying a vehicle you custom order. You can order a custom f-150 and then walk on it.

Generally you assume that 10% to 15% of the trailer weight is on the tongue which counts towards the vehicles payload. You max out your load capacity at the lesser of payload or towing capacity. Payload is tongue weight plus ALL your other cargo including the driver.

I have a 400w plug inside the cab of my truck (‘19 F-150). It’s good for charging a laptop and that’s about it.
