Hard to run that math on a truck that’s only been out for 15 years, hah. The 1st gen Tundra may have the same name but it’s something totally different.

Some people would rather do something illogical than be told what to do, even if the command is very well reasoned. 

I’ve been looking for a clean regular cab truck to use as a DD/mild hot rod and prices are just absolutely nuts.

Great comment. Lots of common all-terrains are “winter rated” and are fantastic in the snow (BFGs, Wildpeak ATs).

Crew cab trucks don’t have as much weight bias. Can’t say its “the best” in the snow because I’m sure something out there is better, but my F-150 with winter rated all terrains is a beast in the snow.

Exactly! This really just competes with the Power Wagon and is an alternative for those who want a more off-road capable truck from the factory. Anyone planning to immediately put off-road and/or bigger tires on their trucks really appreciates these factory options.

I think this is actually a great model. It isn’t going to compete with a Raptor or TRX, but it will absolutely compete with the Power Wagon. The Power Wagon is a 2500 with similar payload, towing, tire size, and lockers.

I hate that cladding and it will 100% look like shit after being parked in the sun for 6 or 7 years. 

At some point we have to admit that the “war on drugs” was a waste of time. It seems like it corrupts everyone involved, even those supposed to be “fighting” it.

It’s hilarious that people don’t realize it’s pretty easy to train a dog to “hit” on command. If it was a person, you’d question it’s integrity, but an animal that’s trained to literally do whatever the handler says never has it’s integrity questioned. So bizarre.

A better argument for buying your own trailer would be that it would save you the 10+ interactions with the u-haul store per year. It takes time to go and pick up a trailer, time to drop it off, etc. Some of the clerks are norman humans, some are smooth brained and take forever.

You make good points, but storing a trailer is a real pain in the ass unless you’ve got a good sized home lot somewhere without a HOA.

The one time I tried to rent a uhaul they wouldn’t let me because the trailer plus the car (jeep cherokee xj) would weigh more than my truck.

This would have been a about a $5k vehicle 5 years ago since it was in good condition but did not have the right engine. Now $9k easy.

Gotta get rid of dogs. It’s insane to me that people will believe a drug dog can be trained to detect drugs but that it also ISN’T trained to “hit” on command.

Honestly, we have to get rid of drug dogs. They’ve been trained to hit on whatever gets tapped on. I’ve seen it happen first hand to someone in highschool that I know did not have drugs on him.

That’s how I used the word “gay” as a fourteen year old in 2004. It’s stupid and wrong, but also I didn’t have any ill will towards homosexuals. They’ll correct their language sometime.
