Hey, some people consider that a perk of flying.

Without solving the underlying problem, TSA pre usually puts you into a metal detector line which is much more chill.
I am thinking of trading in my f-150 for a flex and a fun car once used car prices return to something somewhat normal.
Gotta have a real pooper. Those camping toilets are horrible to empty.
It doesn’t have the payload for a slide in camper, but this is considerably less heavy, although I expect that vehicle’s payload is pretty close to maxxed out.
Not saying that is a silly jeep, but snorkels are just as much for dust as they are for water, believe it or not.
This is more to get off grid and get to remote locations than to just drive the world. I don’t “overland” per se, but I do have a jeep that I use in Colorado. It’s awesome to be able to take the jeep down a trail that’s impassable for most normal cars and then camp/hike in a remote area.
I’m kind of in your boat. A cheap tent in the back of my cheap is light and easy to set up. Plus I don’t have to take it with me when I am out on the trail.
I think you’re probably dissecting this more than it warrants.
People really like to buy shit for their hobbies. You see it in everything.
Forcing the poor people onto public transit so that there’s less congestion for rich people to get to work. Nice.
Rich people will pay. Poor people will just get financially smoked by the additional commuting cost either by paying the tax or by spending a bigger part of their day commuting.
You guys need to take better care of your trucks! hah
I mainly pointed it out because the Bronco is available with a manual whereas the ranger is not.
Lots of ford hate on here. I’ve had two f-150s that were completely problem free. Only got rid of the first one because my family outgrew the small cab.
Rumor is that the Bronco truck will come out in a few years, so you may be able to get a manual one of those although it’ll be fairly large/long.
This is neat, it would be even better if it was offered with mounts for common ford vehicles to encourage the swap. Ex “Fox Body electric swap kit” or whatever.
These 60's truck were $2k for shitty ones and $5k for nice ones about 4 years ago. I wish I had scooped a couple up. Seems like it’s $5k/$10k now.
I always liked them too and they are so hard to find in good condition now.
This is what happens when tech decides to “disrupt” established markets.
