One of the few vehicles that could potentially remain above water for a good bit of the loan term.

Hey! My arms are pretty big.

That’s a pistol, playa.

Everyone in a crosstrek has this mentality. Overall, I’m OK with it cause it’s cool to have a compact car out there, but I have gotten stuck behind them on 4x4 trails going 0.1 mph - which doesn’t bother me by itself - except they never pull over for my Jeep which is really a bummer.

Slowness is a real problem for these. I live in Colorado and it is fine, but in Texas it would be a no-go. Need more acceleration for on-ramps.

My cousin bought a Durango at $900/mo for a similar term. Jesus.

Everyone I know that has one loves it which is a metric I rely heavily upon.

In fairness, $2M is enough money to buy about 10 homes in Ohio, so I’m guessing that skewing his view of wealth.

There is no chance that they plan to have 40% of their production go to a vehicle that won’t be stocked on lots.

They’ll never do this because then consumers will realize how bullshit their tow ratings are for half ton trucks.

Most people can’t understand tow ratings. Half the people towing with a 1500 are overloaded and now they’ll be overloaded relying upon self driving to not murder my whole family lol

Harbor freight is great, you just can’t buy anyting that can 1) kill you if it fails 2) create a significantly more expensive problem if it fails.

NEVER buy cheap gaskets or seals. Buy the nicest felpro you can.

Yeah, that’s the problem with regulation. Too broad of a brush.

The helmet and aviators stay on during sex. Poncho fucked.

A few weeks ago they blew up a city block to dispose of fireworks, so I can’t exactly say that “serve and protect” is their real objective, hah.

There’s a good argument for this. I believe hte 6 speed survived through 2017 in the 5.0.

This one is a very unique set of circumstances in that the vehicle was already out of gas and if not for that attendant, they would not have been able to drive their vehicle.

Yes and no. As the company matures, it will rely less upon it’s genius and creative patriarch, but also there’s a risk that his departure could cause Tesla to lose some aspect of it’s innovation that has kept it 3 to 5 years ahead of competing car manufacturers in the EV space.

Tesla isn’t ever really held accountable by anyone, so I am guessing that nothing will come of this either.
