My college job had an 87 (I think) with the 2.8 and an auto. It was used to haul around AV equipment (the seats were in our lounge), I tried like Hell to always sign it out just to get behind the wheel. It was a hoot on wet roads. 

We got a DJ around here that calls his the “Jambulance”.

A friend of mine e used to work at a Ford dealer quite a few years ago when theSN-95 generation hit the market. They had a theft of one their Mustangs. It was parked next to an IDENTICAL model...well identical except for the transmission. The three pedal model wasn't touched.

I used to drive a stick, now I have an automatic because it was what was available when I made my emergency purchase a few years ago. I am now saving up cash for another vehicle. ..manual. I'm 43 with a 45 minute commute in traffic and I still prefer a manual.
