Yes! It’s so obvious it’s essentially a dressed up Venture van.

I feel like people really miss the point on what actually makes the Aztek ugly, and what holds together a lot of modern designs - the Aztek has awful proportions. The weird detailing is one thing; the bi-level lights, and the weird glasshouse is also a consideration, but the Aztek itself was GM’s attempt at making a…
Did everyone collectively forget about the S-10 blazer? When I (and most of the public) hear “blazer” we all think of the S-10 Blazers, not the K-5 Blazers. Those cars were pretty garbage, too.
1st gear: Hot Take: Removing Renault from Nissan doesn’t sound like a good move for Nissan, and it’s not going to lead to a resurgence of sporty cars.
Also, I think you guys are reaching. It has great proportions; the nose is fairly long and square, and the front fascia is weird and quirky. Some of the detailing is a little weird, but I like it. The overhangs are short, and the car doesn’t look under wheeled despite the wheels not being very big. What do you want…
Can’t wait for its mechanical twin, the Kia Banquet Hall!
As a full time driver, this sounds like a fucking awful idea. Lyft already has ride matching issues, and this seems like it would only complicate pickups. I don’t understand what’s wrong with the “parking lot queue” system that they have now. Is it really so bad for Lyft passengers to wait an extra couple mins for me…
You also know what would have helped? Reading the damn license plate.
That is a myth that Lyft and Uber perpetuate.
Even worse, she’s actually like 12. She’s not 15.
“15".
This is awful. As a car flipper, I’ve gotten a vast majority of my vehicles from CL. And before you say “oh, they’ll prolly still be there” someone selling a $600 car that doesn’t run probably is gonna get miffed at the fees and either use FB marketplace (which is a waste of time) or worse, just scrap it entirely.
I think it looks...generic. Geely is turning out some pleasant and well styled vehicles lately, but this looks like a budget sedan with some techno bullshit tacked on to make it look fancy. Could easily be a China-only low-cost VW sedan that we’ve never heard of.
No, it’s not. The EPA rates the Neon at 25/37 on the new EPA economy estimates, and the old economy estimates were as high as 41Mpg freeway depending on the trim and gearing.
The power to weight ratio was actually better than most, but the three-speed automatic sapped a great deal of gumption out of that car. Driving that versus the manual was like night and day.
1996, the only Golf that existed was the 2.slow which was 115HP in a notably heavier car.
The Caliber wasn’t even remotely related to the Neon. It was a ground up all new design, based upon the final generation Mitsubishi Lancer.
My very first car was a 1996 Plymouth Neon coupe, SOHC, 5-speed. Very basic, didn’t even have a passenger side mirror - just a blanking panel!
