It’s giving me Ssangyong Actyon vibes

.....what in the alternative facts?

OK, for starters, the Caliber/Compass/Patriot trio were developed on a budget of like $2.67, which is part of the reason why they’re such shit vehicles. You wouldn’t think that the Caliber is essentially a reworked Mitsubishi Lancer, because the Lancer is a nice car to look at and

It looks great.

It should be called “CX-3". The CX-3 is tiny, and has no interior space. The next Mazda2 based CUV should be called CX-2.

There already is a CX-4. It’s china-only, and it’s basically a “Crosstour” version of the Mazda 3.

Some people do it because they just want some extra cash, or to kill time. There’s a guy in my area that uses a new Tesla Model S, but he only does it because he’s bored and doesn’t want to be at home.

Me personally, although I’ve added a hell of a lot of miles on my car, at the end of the day

- I didn’t buy it new

I would trust Lyft and Uber’s “Autonomous driving” as far as I could throw a Buick. I’m a lyft driver, and the Lyft Driver App’s wayfinding and ride matching is straight up awful. Not to mention, the apps themselves are kind of glitchy.

This explains why Lyft’s driver support has taken swan dive in the past six months. I’m a Lyft driver, off and on for about three years, although recently for the past 9 months or so I’ve been full time as I figure out what career move I want to make, and it’s amusingly sad to watch my paychecks get smaller and

Subaru has a strong North American presence, but is largely ignored elsewhere.

Ariana Grande has a nice voice, but.....soulful? What?

Also the “Black Queen” Ariana Grande discourse online is incredibly sardonic. No one who calls her a “black queen” actually think she’s going after black women. They’re high-key mocking her, because she *continually* gets darker with each album. I mean, just look

Also......torsion bars are independent enough. It a bit disappointing that a rear multi link setup is gone, but torsion beams are pretty dynamic and work well.

It’s not like it’s a solid axle from a Dodge Caravan.

Just bend the beam around the rear differential. Basically all B-CUV crossovers do this. (HR-V)

Are we sure the Cruze is dead? It still moves decently in Mexico, and that’s where the Hatchback (and Mexican sedans) are assembled anyways.

The handful of models being “axed” (Unconfirmed) were slow sellers or end of their model cycles. The Impala and XTS are old cars. The CT6 and Volt were slow sellers.

The Lacrosse

Have you driven a Mirage? It’s probably the worst driving car on sale right now. Just because they’re both small don’t mean they’re the same....

We gotta have context before people go with the “no one would have bought it” excuse. So, the Suzuki is a “b-segment” car, albeit on the smaller side; a la fiesta.

....Orphan? It’s literally an Equinox with a grille insert. 90% of the body stamping are the same.

I know this is supposed to be a funny torch article, but we definitely have bumpers. The old school rubber or chrome bumpers were to protect you from tweaking the unibody or frame.

New style bumper covers do the same thing; but really they’re just shaped plastic. The actual energy absorption comes from the bumper

Uh, do we live on the same planet? The Renegade is a pretty big success for Jeep. They’ve been consistently selling 100K units of the thing every year. It outsells the Honda HR-V and I think the Chevy Trax.

If you really don’t need AWD, buy a Kia Soul. The Soul is superior in literally every way and is cheaper.

I drove an “echo-sport” a few weeks ago, but mine was a 1.0L automatic.

Wow, some of y’all posters seem a bit car-illeterate. $3100 of work? That’s a stupid amount, especially since you’ll take it to a dealer, they’ll offer you $1000 on trade, then it’ll be on their budget lot with most of those things fixed and a fresh detail for $8995.
