OK, so my parents are frustratingly car-illiterate and we are not on speaking terms anymore. Not because of cars, but honestly the cars didn’t help.

Ok, my parents inhereted a 1989 Ford Probe (this was Circa 2003, so it really wasn’t THAT old of a car). It was a 4cyl automatic, and the paint and body looked pretty

OK, so here’s the bad news:

- You can’t get a manual transmission/cruise control combination. (You can with the Toyota Yaris iA).

- Who is going to insure it? When I tried to do a few online quotes, it was not an option, and with it being essentially rare (on paper) I can forsee the insurance being extra costly for a

Mazda2!

Cheap, fixes all the issues with the Fiesta, and extremely easy to park. Not very fast, but good handling, and roomy for being a little car.

Ha!

I flip cars, and I bought a Dodge Journey (Pre FCA) for very little money to sell.

And I owned a Pre-Death 4CYL Saturn VUE (Same car as the Captiva, except the 4AT is a 6AT in the Captiva, and I think the Captiva has the Equniox’es 4CYL)

Both cars were Flips. They were both not great. The Saturn sold quickly.

No one

Captiva is on Theta I.

I’ve owned both.

I have worked at two Chevrolet dealers, as well as being a car flipper on the side.

These cars also have the worst steering ever. The steering ratio is odd and it has a characteristic of never feeling on center! Even driving straight requires a plethora of corrections.

Friend of mine had a bottle of fish sauce (common condiment in Vietnamese cooking) shatter in his car, and he didn’t realize it until the next morning.

Every now and again, you still catch a whiff on hot days.

Uber/Lyft driver here.

Although there have been problematic drivers, by in large, these people are following GPS instructions trying to make a living out of their cars.

Most passengers are good and unremarkable - but every now and again you get a passenger who is an absolute terror; I had a guy puke in my car (twice!)

The early 1ZZ likes burning rings

Having worked for several dealers, a GREAT DEAL of the used cars on the lot are ex Rentals. Most of them are fine, too. In fact, I'll take them over a trade in, any day.

R’nessa would have been acceptable. Even Laurel, Liberty, or Livina.

Maxima? Seriously??

Ok, so what the hell do you expect? Most concepts are pressed fiberglass around a clay model. Switches, and most everything is non functional because it’s a mock up to show the public.

It’s zero tinted because there’s likely no interior; and probably not an interior (concept) done in the studio.

Hell, a good deal of

Probably one of the better articles I’ve read lately.

I have a few friends who live in Detroit, and aside from the lack of safety in some neighborhoods, the city has a rich history and culture. Everyone is super nice and I absolutely love my visits.

Also, whomever says they can get around any city in MI, or OH without

The Legend is FWD

I don’t know man, the only thing vaguely Model S like is the front “grille” insert, otherwise the car doesn’t share too much stylistic DNA or proportions
