Can the U play GC games*? If so I would recommend WarioWare Mega Party Games. Being used to MPG, Smooth Moves was a disappointment (at least as far as multiplayer goes, MPG really nailed that, but the singleplayer in Smooth Moves was good I guess).
Is that unclaimed money thing only in the US or also in Europe?
The Jedi realized in time that for someone with as great a task as his, all emotions - including love - are dangerous liabilities or at least distractions and are to be suppressed. He forgot about the princess and saved the universe instead. The princess died, but she didn't die in vain.
Sometimes DIY really isn't as good as what you buy on the shelf. I made two DIY capacitive touch screen styluses and neither really worked satisfactory, then I got an off-the-shelf one which worked great.
In the case of digital audio/video you are not likely to often notice a differedifferencence. Even though there is quite a difference in the quality of the cable the cheaper cable will still perfectly transmit most bits. I estimate that a dirt-cheap cable may cause on average one bit error (which influences only one…
The only one I could find was still €270 on ebay, not exactly peanuts... Maybe it's because I'm in the Netherlands and they're cheaper in the US. Looks nice though.
Manual adjustments - yes please!
I'm in favor, especially if it can run regular Linux applications (at least the terminal ones, hello LaTeX and Octave!). Though I must admit I'd even more like to see that on a tablet so I can actually use it for productivity, all those nifty terminal tools have become indispensable to me.
Can anyone explain to me what this bond thing is? The only thing I can think of is an 88% bond meaning Samsung gives 88% of the profit on each sold phone to Apple, which would be a ridiculous amount.
Cyanogenmod. Problem solved.
Posting your own photo to this site seems like an excellent way to keep stupid people at bay.
Google seems to have done some reasoning which should be valid; after all if you're driving tje speed limit no one is supposed to drive faster than you. Unfortunately people tend to be collectively ignorant of traffic law and people who are not going faster than they're allowed to seem to grow quite rare... Maybe if…
I am not an always-on person. At night I keep my phone in airplane mode (or turn it off completely when I'm not using it as an alarm clock), and on the road and anyplace else I don't have wifi I am disconnected from the internet. Though I must admit that last point mainly has to do with the high cost of prepaid mobile…
Flipboard looks really nice, too bad Gizmodo's feed has only a small selection of articles...
Same here. I still hope I get to try WebOS one day because it sounds really good (except for the number of apps).
They can make it screen-filling (or at least window-filling) and hide the close button for like 10 seconds, I think that way you're pretty much forced to read it. I don't know if this is what they do but at least it's what first came to mind when the article said FB will guarantee the recipient reads it.
At least THEY do itbat April fool's day. This guy did it on a random date which I think is a totally different thing.
You're underestimating the cruelty of hardcore bullies, as well as some excessively rich but slightly less hardcore ones. If they can send a message to their victim with the guarantee that the victim will be unable to avoid reading it I'm sure they're willing to pay for that. Yes, we're living in a sick and twisted…
