Right up there with jacked-up vehicles having headlights raised to the point where they blind drivers in front of them if they look in the mirror. I would be happy to see laws mandating the maximum height from the road surface for headlights for a vehicle to be legal to drive on public roads.

I’ve been cycling for 20 years and I fail to see the type of cyclist you’re talking about, but they’ve been prolifically chronicled on the internet. The only cyclists I see are the ones trying to not die while taking every safeguard available. I’m talking about road bikes, not kids on a rattle can painted BMX riding

Fun fact: those “entitled asshats” actually have the right-of-way

Bicycles are permitted, even required, to be on the roads in most urban settings. It is the responsibility of car drivers to share the road with them. Yes, some riders ignore traffic signals but by and large most cyclists don’t die because they ran a stop sign and got hit by a car. Usually they get run over while

Explain the pedestrian deaths.

“And they said the campaign believes that voters will credit Trump for the strong economy before the pandemic hit”

This has literally never happened in the history of presidential U.S. politics.  Ever.  And they know it.  Generally speaking, voters have the long term memories of mayflies.

She’s got receipts and it still won’t be enough.

You know what I don’t need? Screens that stretch from pillar to pillar. There are a limited number of things I need to know while I’m driving. Speed, maybe the remaining range, and then the info about what song is playing, or what playlist I’m on.

“high-def screens that literally stretch along the dashboard the full width of the car, from pillar to pillar

Michael, my life is now in complete shambles. If only I’d been able to read about this absurd but neat car of no actual consequence to the universe 2 hours earlier, none of this would have happened. I hope you’re happy.

Jalopnik is one of the very few outlets that does not agree to informational embargoes. That means that other outlets sign extensive non-disclosure agreements, agreeing to sit on information for days, weeks, sometimes months in advance, and not say a peep about it until a manufacturer’s marketing team says they can.

no, it’s not “kill the rich”, it’s “eat the rich”.

It’s a well known fact that all Audi owners are bloodthirsty murderers who spend every minute behind the wheel looking for lone pedestrians to run down for kicks. This is an important distinction from Jaguar owners, who will run over you because they’re drunk, and Mercedes owners who will run over you because you
