Once again proving why she's the best thing about this show.

No. I hope not. There's been no suggestion of that, either.

This was my favourite exchange:

"religious institutions are more concerned with churning out obedient servants rather than critically thinking adults"

I think there's a happy medium between tedium (which I don't think these alternate-reality stories were) and what Scandal currently is, i.e. relentless batshit fuckery.

"Queer Eye’s Jai Rodriguez as the brain bleed!"

Do you usually read a review before watching a show?

Her delivery of "Just get to the fucking point!" made me howl.

Quite. Blind loyalty isn't a desirable quality, it's just stupidity.

Brody was awful. His family was awful. It was a relief for me as a fan of the show that they finally all buggered off.

All I hope is that either that subplot goes WAY on the back burner or is resolved quickly. A focus on anyone's offspring is 100% not what Homeland needs.

Good suggestions - 2 sounds more likely.

I find the fanwanky love for Quinn slightly odd. He was a good character and Rupert is handsome (I suspect this is the main reason lots of people are so histrionic about his character), but he's not really integral to what makes Homeland the show it is - that would be Carrie and Saul.

I generally liked the finale but I thought Keane ignoring Carrie seemed odd considering she'd offered her a high-ranking job.

Agreed - but then I remembered he was wearing his Plot Armour.

I find it odd how Barbara has kind of been notable yet under developed. Hopefully this will be rectified next season.

Agreed about it not suiting her character. I don't dislike Justin Bartha's character that much, he's just a bit of a non-entity and dragging down Lucca while also getting in the way of our ability to find out more about her.

If there isn't a time jump, it would be a good opportunity for the writers to try and do their own thing (to some extent) and not be so bound to the comics, whilst also slowing down the show's catching up of the source material.

I was fairly indifferent to Derek but I felt his death definitely helped reinvigorate the show.

I agree - I loved Archer Vice.
