Oh for sure, I loved him in OITNB (until he abandoned Daya). I'm not saying Matt McGorry isn't great, just his character is grating.

@Studiotodd:disqus It may not be the best example but Denise had only just been introduced and then got bumped off - her and Tara spent more time existing apart than together. I realise pretty much anyone can die on TWD, but it still wasn't very well executed. I was more including it as an example of a queer character

LOL, just realised I didn't mean to call it a "sexy" gay scene - brain fart - I just meant to say gay sex scene.

Exactly, @jayaniakor:disqus. It would make sense from a narrative point of view, @okcthunderfan26:disqus - the fact that his boyfriend rarely made an appearance highlights how poorly Nate's storyline has been treated this season.

What did you say? Did you say it in an offensive way and/or with offensive language?

Please turn off your caps lock, for god's sake.

Yeah, it's a pity that its final season was also Kingdom's weakest.

100% agreed - on the plus side, I hear he's going to be in Westworld's second season, which is friggin awesome.

@Loki1001 - The gun didn't come out of nowhere - pretty sure Jay explicitly passed a comment about the bouncer being armed when they arrived at the club and he was goofing around about respecting the guy's work and were there any ladies he should avoid.

Agreed about Nate. Kind of glad the show ended for that reason - even though I love it.

Totally agree. This season was a missed opportunity - all the more so as it was it's final one. I was pretty pleased with the finale, if I don't think about all the other loose threads for too long. Definitely gonna miss this show - quietly great TV.

Sadly, this show has flown under the radar for the entirety of its run. It really needed to get on Netflix or something, to reach a wider audience.

1. Nate's exit was shocking and deeply moving - this finale had me weepy throughout most of it. I wish it hadn't happened and I'd definitely be more annoyed about it if the show had been renewed as the LGBT-thread would have been entirely removed - not to mention Nick Jonas. I definitely agree with Danette's

I would agree. It's been a great show and I'll definitely miss it but this season has been a bit of a mess and certainly the weakest of the 4.

I wish this season had been another bumper season like the last one, as 20 episodes would have allowed for more of these threads to be explored more thoroughly and feel like the show got a decent send off.

@muscles:disqus - "This season feels so incomplete because its as if they didn't know it was the final season" - they didn't know this was going to be the final season when they filmed it. I think it was all fully filmed by the time the network announced they were cancelling it.

It's a shame that Alvey's mum is getting an 11th hour introduction - although obviously it isn't the Kingdom team who wanted to end things at this season. Is it too much to hope another network picks it up?

It has its place - like the entirety of Earth's history, both man's and all biological life forms past and present. I agree that you would think there would be more interest in exploring the oceans, but maybe that's partly down to technology struggling to be able to go down that far, due to pressue levels, or perhaps

Exactly. Gonna take a wild guess that Kaingerc is straight.

It's made all the more frustrating when we know we're down to the last handful of episodes - bar an 11th redemption by another network.
