Really? I don't recall that but if you're right then how come this is literally the first time they're directly talking about it? I mean, I enjoyed the moment between the two characters and the fact it addressed Nate's subplot about his sexuality a little, but it felt totally out the blue to me.

The really weird thing about last week's episode was that it explicitly included Nate's sexuality coming to the fore via his phone call with Jay, and yet not only did that storyline not get moved forward last week, Nate didn't appear at all, IIRC.

When did Christina find out about Nate being gay? Did I blink and miss something?

Thanks for the recommendation. Yeah, Tucker is superb.

I think one of the show's biggest hurdles - and I say this as a huge fan of the show who's upset that it's being cut down in its prime - is that its setting is likely to put a lot of people off, even though, as the reviewer above states, it's fundamentally a family drama. I only checked it out because I was curious to

So happy it's back but such a shame to hear it's been cancelled - and back to only 10 episodes for the third and final season. Pity it isn't another extended season.

Some people like older guys, and I think his boyfriend is hot - albeit problematic as the review above states.

Sadly, this must be a US Amazon-only offer as it's not free on the UK store - booo!

I think violence against animals is always worse because they are generally either unwilling and innocent participants unable to compute the situation, or they've been corrupted by humans to be overly hostile and violent. There's a reason that violence against animals as a child is indicative of sociopaths and serial

I think a season can be both audacious and miss the mark. I don't think many people here are critical of the effort made on Dreamland, it's more the execution.

"I'm English and middle-class, which means I was pretty much born with a German accent"

That's interesting. For me, Vice is one of my favourite seasons - I think it was (importantly) very funny, whereas this season has been visually beautiful but comparatively low on laughs.

Wasn't the "T Man" joke more a wordplay/confusion joke rather than a transphobic one? I mean, yeah, near the knuckle, but the joke was the gang misunderstanding what the shorthand of "T Man" meant; they weren't joking that they thought she was a man because of reasons. Maybe I'm wrong…

I watched Alphas. I like her loveable and scrappy vibe. She's also guest-starred in a number of other great shows.

Talking of Luke's glasses, it seemed unrealistic to me that in the 3+ years since his escape and rescue that he hadn't got a new pair. New phone? Sure! New glasses that aren't cracked and broken? Pffft, whevs!

"My cat must be embarrassed by me by now"

If it doesn't happen by the end of the finale, I hope the second season gives us more Moira and Emily/Ofglen/Ofsteven.

If the others survived, it was odd that they didn't reappear in the flashforward at the end. As Charles said, the editing implied only Luke and Erin got away.

i liked the character of the hosery woodsman who initially appears menacing, and then pivots by being a refreshingly salt of the earth "shits no good these days" type of guy
