Good knowledge - thanks!

Haha, yes, Peter Outerbridge is very good - he was great on Nikita, too.

I agree it's a little extreme for him - but I suppose the current unavoidable result from his POV is that the "nightmare" would begin all over again if the scientist guy continues his work.

Hmm, perhaps. Their accents are quite hard to understand at times. I didn't read them as former lovers, though, but you could be right.

"I do wish however that we had more Mars characters, Draper as great as
she is is too much of a pawn at the moment to give us any real Martian
perspective."

…didn't she say call him "papa" in that exchange in front of a store window?

I agree in part, but Draper has thus far been portrayed as quite the hot head, whereas Avasarala is much more the intellectual. I can see Draper (maybe inadvertently) being the reason for conflict escalation.

I can't stand his character - he's the one weak link on the show. I'm not sure whether it's in combination with the actor, but something about him is incredibly grating. I just hope he meets his demise soon.

From the review above:
"Holden was definitely going to go shoot the doctor in the head in cold blood."

Personally, while I've enjoyed this show since the pilot, I think the best thing it ever did was ditching Brody.

"the (dear departed) Bridge"

"Or this overtly political season"

"Agree with you entirely on the ridiculously persistent shuffling of her
child. It's one of the only things that irks me each episode"

To be fair, grades between shows aren't meant to be directly comparable. However, I agree that TWD is the poorer show.

How is The Walking Dead "heavily right wing"?

"I'm not even convinced the show expected many people to think it was Rick at all."

Is Dr Denise in the comics and if so is she still alive?

"I thought maybe Rick was hallucinating it at first."

I guess they spunked all their CGI budget on the tiger so had to go with the super budget animators for the rest of the show's requirements.

I don't get it.
