I wouldn't say clunker, but it is the weakest so far - however, they set the bar so high straight out the gate. I think a B+ seems about right.

You defo should. It's still going, though - hasn't finished! New season should be starting soon.

Well, technically Wentworth predates OITNB as it's a reboot of the iconic Aussie series Prisoner: Cellblock H, but yeah, that's the one!

Well, technically, the actress who plays Naomi (Dominique Tipper) is from East London. I'm not sure why you find her accent any less believable than the myriad of accents we hear among the Belters and Martians for that matter. I think it's good that the show is quite the melting pot of accents and nationalities rather

I recognised her from a small role she had on (the excellent) Wentworth Prison.

"And Avasarala wants to prevent a war."

He may not be the best candidate, but then LGBT characters (like actual LGBT people) should come in all shades. Amos may have thuggish tendencies, but he's clearly got good elements to him, as we see and hear through his interactions with Naomi. He's not a caricature - he does have nuance to his character.

I think it was bad writing/characterisation. I thought the acting was one of the best elements of the show.

"it was not supposed to be a perfectly sculpted tv show"

Are you saying Prairie is the only chacter or that the shooter is, and Prairie is just the original alter/split personality from the shooter? Is this world we see in The OA entirely in the shooter or Prairie's head?

Echo: "Octavia couldn't possibly have survived my blade AND that fall."
Octavia's Plot Armour: "Hi there, I do believe you forgot about me."

Raven is great (as is the kick-ass Octavia), but she's not a leader, she's more the brains. It's natural for the show/story to focus on the leaders as they have to make the decisions that affect things. To be fair to the show, it's a pretty solid ensemble piece, even if Clarke has a smidgen more focus than most.

You and your facts.

Same. It was an odd moment to end the episode on as it gave the potential for a miraculous recovery.

"After a resurgent last season, this season of Grey's has really been a mess"

"Telling Owen to get rid of the father and not giving a reason? Good thing Owen failed at that, huh?"

Re: Nashville - big surprise and very sad :(

I would be here for some comedic "Meredith develops a gaming addiction" sub-plot.

Connor explicitly linked his comment to taking shirtless selfies, not having sex.

I agree. I like both Laurel and Michaela, but Asher is too annoying and Wes was just kinda…there. I had more time Laurel and Wes than I do for Michaela and Asher. Asher is just too ridiculous - he's a goofball, unprofessional and doesn't seem particularly bright. Whatever you think about the rest of them, the other
