"I cry at some point during almost every episode" - how to some up Grey's Anatomy in a single sentence, haha

Ugh, I truly hope that Meredith and Alex DON'T get together. I think it's so much better that their relationship remains a beacon of incredibly resilient friendship, just like Meredith and Christina's was. It's such a boring TV trope that a male and female friend ultimately end up together romantically.

Having "unfinished business" seems a really ropey reason because, if you've been murdered i.e. had your life wrongfully cut short, wouldn't you want revenge for that? Which is surely unfinished business?

I must admit, that surprised me too. My first thought when the guns started firing was that it was the Russians tieing up loose ends; I thought the brutality of it seemed out of character for it to be Saul…but I was wrong.

I really enjoyed this finale apart from the "see the light" bullshit with Carrie. It's one thing to introduce a faith-based motive to a character like Carrie, but the heavyhanded signpost at the end was, in my opinion, ridiculous and beneath this otherwise intelligent show.

She was good being upset with Donovan, but it's usually a case of 4 bad ones for every 1 good scene. Gaga could really do with some acting lessons if she's going to return for AHS 6.

I would say that's a little harsh, I think Jonas holds his own amongst a very talented cast. I thought he was very good in that scene, the one I thought he was a little weak in was when Jay discovered Christina passed out - you could see and feel Jay's stress and panic, but Nate just seemed a bit sad/confused.

I semi-agree with you. I adore this show, but I am really loving HTGAWM too. Empire I watch too, but it is quite the hot mess and my interest is held by the talents of people like Taraji P. Henson rather than coherent (!) storytelling.

Hate? From the reviewer? I think I'd classify it as indifference and critical appraisal…

There's definitely some confusion here. I would say this is officially the mid-season 2 finale, since that's what it was called in the promo videos for this episode.

Grace is still there, she just wasn't used in this episode, and isn't Zack at college still? Admittedly he could come back sporadically for semester breaks, etc.

I didn't realise this - thanks for the info! Still seems odd that she's been so underused even though she's considered part of the main cast.

Haha, well that says it all. I think most of us wish we could forget the plank of character he is.

Yes, I fully expect a Liz/Valentino meeting at some point.

The virus makes you immortal but not indestructible. I should imagine any major injury would kill you - e.g. beheading.

It was fantastic to see Angela Bassett getting some screen time at last! I find it weird that she has a special listing on the main credits ("With Angela Bassett") and has been hardly used, yet Finn Wittrock has had two characters to play around with and appears in what feels like almost every episode, and only

Right? I only checked it out because I was interested to see what Nick Jonas' character was about having seen comments about it on other sites, but wow - the calibre of the show truly took me by surprise. So great.

I'm surprised at that preview showing what it did, but anyway…

I'm glad the community is (currently) in averaged agreement that Dorkus was the weaker episode. I think it's a fair to point out that it delivered on the laughs (for me at least) but not really on the horror.

I think a C grade is a little harsh, but my biggest gripe with AHS is how under-utilised Angela Bassett is - she's barely been in it so far. I just hope the back-end of the season sees her character come to the fore.
