I wouldn’t say trash. I would say “inner demons,” or “ugliness.” Being a complete, well-rounded human is about accepting the parts of you and your personality that are nasty, gross, and that, generally, are better kept away from the public.

The fantasy is entirely one-sided, and yet, all these older creepy rich men still end up with 18-year-old girls hugging their side. “Why” and “How” are compelling enough questions that I think it’s possible to write a movie about that.
