I know it’s part of California, but Palm Springs is pretty good too. Chuckwalla Valley Raceway is about 60 miles to the east, and it’s less than 2 hours from LA.

Yeah, lots of folks love bitching about the laws…but look at it this way, even DESPITE all the regulations it is really difficult to beat the sheer volume and diversity when it comes to car culture in CA.
SoCal (LA) native here. Everything you said is right on the money.
Yea I was going to mention the downside is a lot of our laws/clean air laws kill the fun. Especially when it comes to a cars power output. But its nothing drastic though you know?
I thiiiink this is the right answer. You guys have some draconian laws down there though.
Come on. Its California, well specifically SoCal. Not only do we have a myriad number of car cultures, from lowriders, to JDM, douchebag bros, a regular cab V8 pickup truck scene that has recently come out of no where, but we also have good driving roads and some historic race tracks (the ones that are still around at…

Now show me a Lime lane-splitting in California.
“flawless" perhaps in that he isn't dead, but still mind-bendingly shit stupid.
The thing about Mustangs is that they’re great performance machines that make great daily drivers. GT350s do not make great daily drivers. The exhaust sound is awesome and intoxicating, but it gets to be a little bit much every time you run out for groceries. The suspension is way harsher than you’d like unless you’re…
Probably a little more hardcore than people thought they wanted, and when it came down to the reality of them they realized they wanted the looks more than the reality
A Mid Engine does not a super car make. LOL
Y’all got a C8 vs GT350 test in the works, right?
