That is pure, weapons-grade essence of ‘90s.

What is he going to lose in depreciation if he throws this one away and buys new? Yes it’s an expensive pill to swallow but, buying something new, especially something that gets beaten up in the city is going to be more expensive.

Time to learn how to wrench.

Don’t you have to throw in some WWII German contributions to the jet engine or do we not discuss that here?

I don’t know anything about this particular story, but it does feel like a lot of times we take credit as the US for what are international achievements. Like anything, just because the rich guy can do it first, doesn’t mean he’s better at it or had the idea before other people that don’t have tons of cash to throw at

My Mom got a ‘91 Tracker. It was black with some cool at the time 90's designs on the sides. I thought for sure I was going to get my hands on it about 3-4 years later when I started driving. Then without warning they traded it in 2 years later and got a new Explorer that I wasn’t allowed to touch.

Rotaries are most efficient at about 3,000RPM and with a constant load such as in a generator scenario, they are likely to see very long MTBF, assuming Mazda actually injects enough oil in for lubrication (the cause of several 1st and 2nd year RX-8 engine failures).

Subaru fanboys disagree, or maybe I missed a joke and it went right over my head... gasket...

Only in a rotary Mazda can you be a fan boy and shit talk your own car at the same time and everyone gets the joke...

Nice! Hopefully these new rotaries can be used on smaller applications too, like mopeds and go-karts
