Thank you!
Thank you!
Heres a question.
there still a lot missing there.
Exactly, Jezebel isnt really to blame tho. The study itself does little to explain anything
As someone who worked in a hospital (and was basically in charge of staffing, like i actually had to take nurses pay into consideration), you are absolutely right. This study here (and the article sited) are completely flawed and lacking information.
I think the audacity of people, to "go there" and get away with it, is what really gives it its power.
I made no mention of pay because the statement I comment on made mention of hiring more males in reference to physicality being a factor.
I give nicknames to everyone. Nicknames give some insight to that person (depending on the nickname).
1- you'd be wrong, most nurses in nursing homes are nurses. LPN (LVNs in CA) are nurses and can work floors like any other nurses, but have restrictions to them. The article sourced even says — Of the employed nurses, about 78% were registered nurses,19% were licensed practical and licensed vocational nurses, and 3%…
Nursing job A might be Harder than B.
except a LVN (licensed vocational nurse) vs Nurse Practitioner is paid VERY different. I'm talking a 10K a year difference. Your qualifications/certifications make a HUGE difference.
Except this study doesnt show that.
not without sufficient evidence no.
ironically, you might be right about #2. Yes, Some Nursing jobs ARE harder than number.
oh yea, this is actually a good point.
yea... this is an actual problem.
This study is flawed. Nursing isnt like programmers.
youre actually wrong, I worked in a hospital.
If I said "Go Beach" would that mean anything to you?
This study is off.
