Absolutely true. H-D is still has the image of the bad ass American biker in many countries (not in a negative way). Still something the Japanese love and even working for a Japanese motorcycle company, when their engineers come to visit the States they want to go to a H-D dealer, buy the hat and jacket, etc..

Can’t say I would take any of the over a Flex.  Probably a little nicer interior from the Lexus, but that is about it.

Actually less annoying than the real thing......

When you consider the current XC90 is a 4 year old design and still looks better than most of what has come out since, it’s a winner.

I had a QX60 for a rental a couple of weeks ago. Absolutely one of the worst vehicles I’ve ever driven. Seats sucked and the handling was softer than anything I can remember driving in the past 10 years. Front end plow was so bad I thought I was driving a tractor. The only redeeming quality was the typically stron

I was thinking Explorer rear end as well. Side and wheel arches are definitely XC90. They will sell a bunch, if not to actual customers, it will become the go to luxury SUV option for National Rental fleets.

Good comparison. Opposite ends of the spectrum, but same basic problem. The dealer network has no clue how to sell to the new customers the company is trying to win over. Stinger sales have been a struggle. For a car that received so much hype and had dealers trying to sell for sticker plus when they launched,

I’ll agree with you on generalizing HD riders, but he didn’t miss the mark by much on the dealers.  Not all, but many.

Or let multi brand stores sell these on their floor and not require them to go through the dedicated HD stores. Electric only won’t drive enough volume to justify the dedicated facility.

Even if you fixed the dealer attitudes, the LiveWire is going to miss the mark. They are shooting for new, younger customers with a $30k electric bike??  Good luck!  These two could be a different story with reasonable pricing, especially the little one. I’ve been riding most of my life and still can’t even stand

Shame that f’ing whining makes it almost unwatchable.

I’ll give you that, less than ideal for the freeways.

Under appreciated comment.

But a Z400 is ugly and not as much fun to ride.  Learning to ride/control a bike without ABS isn’t a bad thing and also more (say it with me) FUN!!  Sliding a Van Van around on a gravel road is a great way to waste an afternoon.

Yep. I rent enough cars that I’ve driven damn near every car I have on the short list for my next purchase. Makes online purchasing a breeze and cuts out 90% of the dealership bullshit. Negotiate the deal online, drive the specific car when you go to pick it up and sign the paperwork. Cuts the dealership

Yes!!  Lots of less than financially savvy folks trading large SUVs and trucks in on those expensive Priuses. Problem is they were upside down on the loans and ended up costing themselves much more by making the trade.

When I was sentenced to live in SW Minnesota for a few years, the town used sand on intersections and just left a layer of snow on the roads. Never had any issues and never used snow tires. The state, on the other hand, salted the shit out of every highway. The salt residue ran out of the side mirrors on the car

I just don’t see anyone giving a shit about this car by the time Toyota finally pulls the sheets off of the official car at the intro. They’ve been dragging this game on way too long and at the end of the day, it’s just an underwhelming BMW Z4 that will be priced too high to make a big hit as a Toyota.

I never thought I’d have to post two pictures of the horror Mansory inflicts upon otherwise nice cars, but the tasteless fools that did this to the poor Infiniti forced it. I still blame Mansory for starting this awful trend.

Uhm........you do realize that was sarcas.........never mind.
