Wait, Maria Shriver, nee Kennedy went to Tennessee State College?
Yes. Possibly, a quick aside to the supervisor, not a complaint mind you. Just a, ‘It would be great if “Tina” would keep her speculative remarks to herself.’ Or, do you think it would be better to just ask your co-worker to scale it back? I’ve had people tease me on the job, too. I suppose we all have, and I think…
LOL. Your co-worker sounds a bit crazy. The older I get, the more I hate people. Not really, just I notice I have become more and more intolerant of annoying people. And I more and more love staying at home with my dog, the birds in the yard, and my computer, who all love me. It works out great.
I replied to you post earlier, but I quite frankly have no other suggestions. Honestly, I makes me really angry that your options are so limited. You didn’t say but I assume you are in the US, which is the richest country in the world. It’s a pity you aren’t living somewhere where healthcare for citizen is a priority.…
Sorry in advance if my response is unhelpful. Is there a hospice facility or a group home where hospice can support your father in his neighborhood? Sending him to a facility 90 miles away seems excessive. I feel really bad for both of you.
OMG, how fabulous are you??? Fight the jet lag and try to stay awake until dark. I love that you have pulled off this amazing family trip. I can’t wait to hear all the details. Until then, enjoy the beauty and the history that is Paris.
Oh, didn’t know it was there. Glad to see your comment. I spend a lot of time on Amazon, watching old Brit TV. So having access to 30 Rock will be a welcome alternative. Variety and quality makes this viewer happy. Why do Americans love Big Bang Theory? Dumb and Dumber go to grad school.
They already did: 30 Rock :-(
LOL, sensible!
Thank you, Aunty.
That blue sweater with the spotted puppy is just adorable, I love it! But I think that kid is not so adorable, sorry Louis.
<3 I was there the first time when I was young and very broke. When I went back for the 2nd time I was in my 50s and the jet lag nearly killed me. Still, that romance of walking on the banks of the Seine, seeing the Place St. Michel and Notre Dame, Montmartre, the booksellers and flower stalls, it just nearly killed…
Neither had I. But somewhere I bought a pair of these on sale, ended up wearing them in Paris one year and was completely thankful for them. I mean, they aren’t dressy or super cute, but they looked great with my jeans and my khaki trousers. And they provided an effective cushion between my weary feet and the marble…
Good dog!
Congrats on paying off your loans—that’s huge and really a hallmark day, at least it was for me. As for the rest of your post, I hope you can harness your discontent into some sort of energy for effecting change in your life. Everybody needs a purpose in life and I hope you can one day find yours. One lifeline that…
I find Clarks and Munro make a great shoe that helps me on my travels. Not sure about the looking cute part, that depends on which shoe you chose. But if you go to the Louvre and spend several hours there, you’ll be happy for very good footwear so that afterwards you can move on to the Marchee des Enfants Rouges for a…
Nice job! I hate car shopping, whereas some people love it. :-/ Not my thing so good work getting a great deal. Much joy in the new ride.
LOL: “What?”, said Archie after squeezing his giant puppy self into the tiny cat bed. His little pointy toenails are adorables. <3 He’s so beautiful!!!
