I remember an interview with Will Gluck, the director of Easy A, soon after the movie came out and he mentioned that Emma Stone was the most prepared actress he’d ever seen. He said that when she showed up for the first day of shooting, she knew the lines...ALL the lines...every character’s lines.

It’s a tucci subject.

I had 0 expectations going in, and that paid off handsomely when this movie ended up charming me completely. Hell, that “Pocketful of Sunshine” sequence at the beginning laid the groundwork of the type of movie it was going to be, and it was a perfect tone. So glad to see Asian actors getting lead roles these days.

Speaking of Stanley Tucci, how has HE not won any academy awards yet? The man has been working forever. Emmys and Golden Globes, but no Oscars yet.

Come to MN when you have the next craving.

I generally really enjoyed the Gilmore Girls “Day in the Life,” but man, all that stuff with the Life and Death Brigade was just...awful.

I always had the impression that Rory and Logan’s relationship was on its last legs from this episode, too, and yet that is not the case...

I’ll take S7 over S6 anyday. At least the characters are on the way back from the various mistakes they’ve been making.

HER?

Exactly. Something about the perfect storm of voices, characters, animation style etc of that show was mesmerizing.

Oh me too, I remember a ton of hype for that movie months before it came out, and Madonna’s popularity at it’s peak probably(I think Vogue was the hot single of the time). I went to see it, and it was probably the first movies I remember seeing at that young age with Warren Beatty, Al Pacino, James Caan, (I don’t

I’m hoping for the following:

I knew “The Rocketeer” would be next. After that, it’s gonna be harder to guess until like 1998.

Yeah!! I’d like to see what have the freaks have done lately HA. *checks imdb for one second* oh.

The obligatory back-story story about this interview is that I actually did about half of it a few years ago, and I was finally able to get enough to turn it into a piece worth running (because, you know, my standards are unreasonably high) when I got her on the phone a few weeks ago, but the interview was supposed to

To be fair, it’s going to be better than whatever Trevorrow, the man who directed The Book of Henry, had planned.

He’s gonna stop halfway through the debate and have a stilted conversation with the candidates about their mundane lives.

I’m sorry, you forgot to phrase your tax reform plan in the form of a question.

Thanks for those updates.

The unsung hero of that episode was Charles Barkley’s Donkey Basketball Camp.
