I think he’s still traumatized by getting stuck in Track 3 at such a young age.

One time, the show inspired me to ask my mother “Where’s my sperm?” That was an interesting conversation.

Did we forget there’s thirty-seven thousand Fantastic Beasts movies queued up?

I, too, think of every actor as their most well-known genre role. As far as I’m concerned, Waco is Gambit vs. Supergirl.

And to think they were both nearly Hogwarts professors! What’s the next big “Everyone British actor gets a part in this series” series? Are they all going to be Artemis Fowl characters or something soon?

He’s a good voice actor as well, from Gargoyles to Spongebob

M-O-O-N, that spells perfect casting. Laws, yes.

Bill Fagerbakke was perfectly cast in the TV miniseries of The Stand. And just remembered him being pretty solid as a piece of shit prison guard on Oz.

I’ve said it before, but those commenters are probably all gone so I’ll repeat it. I am firmly convinced that Jess wouldn’t have gotten his act together and turned out so solid if he had stayed with Rory. They were bad for each other, no question. I like him more as a character in general than as a partner for Rory.

I can’t believe he’s been locked inside Jumanji this whole time.

Can I ask a question?

If Will Ferrell can fake host the Rose Parade then he can real-host Jeopardy for a few weeks in character. Preferably with Norm MacDonald and Darrell Hammond video Daily Doubles included.

I’ll admit Toby & Daphne were my favourites when Switched @ Birth began, but by the series finale, Bay was tots my fave (& Daphne in season 3/4 was the WORST).

Vanessa Marano was great in Switched at Birth though (& April herself was a pleasant enough character in this, it was more the other character’s reactions to her presence that sour other people to her).

My favourite thing about Emily’s takedown of Shira is right at the start when she sees her holding court and gets that evil look on her face.

Emily’s takedown of Shira was glorious. We’ve all had the fantasy of taking down vapid, vacuous, good for nothing, supremely privileged assholes. It was satisfying. Not as satisfying as it would have been to see Logan get punched by Jess or anyone really at least once during the series.

Amazing story. I’m so jealous that you got the chance to interview one of my all time favorite artists. But you knocked it out of the park. This was a great interview to read and as a huge Elvis fan, taught me a lot. I didn’t realize he was in so much television. Interviewing him would have made my decade let alone my

I finally made a Kinja account (shudder) simply to heap on some more praise for Will Harris, who is half the reason I still come to A.V. Club. Were he and O’Neal to depart, just shut the whole place down.

Bad Lip Reading is about the only way I will willingly watch extended clips of Trump talking.

I agree, that’s a fantastic story about a really fun interview, and I hope 2018 has a lot more Random Roles. I’m impressed by the number of times interviewees have said without prompting that they’re pleased by suprising details they’re asked about. I know that celebs get glazed over by all of the repetitive questions
