Except for Marty’s dumb return in season seven, I think you might be right. The LADB was the worst part of the revival for me, by far. I think they’re my least favorite part of the series overall, except for April, of course (and she’s on her way).

I wonder if Logan wasn’t originally supposed to be a long-term boyfriend. His initial introduction and the way he treats Marty almost make him irredeemable. (See also Veronica Mars’ Logan and “Bumfights.”)
