Square One was my favorite show as a kid and Cathey was an absolute essential part of that ensemble. It hit that perfect midpoint of entertainment and education that I’m not sure any show ever did better. Loved him as Carcetti’s reality check on The Wire and he really did his best to drag something resembling emotions

“I didn’t need molded plastic to improve my physique...Pure. West.”

I was 8 when Batman came out and it intimidated me. I didn’t see it in the theater, even though my house was stocked with Batman toys and the Adam West show was appointment viewing.

He did a really good job as Ron...and an amazing job as Terry in Batman Beyond.

I watched that show much more than a college-age person should...but that supporting voice cast kept dragging me back in.

I was thinking about Bundy too. That does seem like an easier sell of “charming handsome guy kills young women.” That is like half of all CSI episodes. I know there is a movie with Zac Efron about Bundy coming out, who is a pretty good casting choice look wise.

I know there was a story about his early life last year, but growing up in Milwaukee when he was arrested, I’m surprised there hasn’t been something major done about Jeffrey Dahmer.

Oh yeah, definitely love that scene in the car. Can’t go wrong with Steely Dan!

Cusack’s little hesitation in the “Bought/Sold/Processed” speech is so perfect because you know it’s a speech that someone like Lloyd would make and completely in character that he would freeze up a little in front of that dinner crowd. Lloyd was so close about kickboxing being the sport of the future too. Maybe Lloyd

Aww, man...loved John Mahoney’s work. Martin Crane was obviously a career highlight as he was the perfect salt of the earth foil for his two prim and proper sons. It seems like he was constantly 77 on the show, surprised to realize he was only in his 50s for most of the show.

“Hey Ma, how ‘bout some well-crafted horror.”

Loved following along with A History of Violence and look forward to this ride too.

Say Random Roles Again, I dare ya

I really liked Cress Williams on Hart of Dixie and was excited to see him get this role. Encouraging sounding start and hope it does well.

After waiting for years to see what ASP’s “Last Four Words” were, I was absolutely let down and flummoxed by what they ended up being.

Would be delighted if Deakins can repeat this win at Oscar time.

I hear he drives a Dodge Stratus. Maybe he can do something with that.

This “paint checking machine” sounds like it has a 100 percent chance of turning against its human masters and killing all of us. Sam Waterston tried to warn us!

I’m sorry...I was raised being told the one true Polka King was Frankie Yankovic. Has my whole life been a lie?

The last time James Franco was this uncomfortable facing questions about allegations against him he just wrote down “Zeppelin Rocks.”
