Keep in mind that Michigan has no vehicle safety or emissions laws. These vehicles would be a bigger environmental hazard if they were on the road (leaking more, producing more CO2/NOx), and they could—if they had an owner who didn’t inspect them thoroughly—be quite dangerous and still be on the road.

To me, the uniqueness of “it’s not a 911” is a pretty big selling point. I’m not at the point in my life where a $100,000 car of any type is in the offing, but it sure seems like it would be a bummer to drop  100k and then see every Tom, Dick and Sally driving the same damn car.
